Premier Russell MacLellan is defending a decision to have a mass burial for some of the human remains of Swissair Flight 1-11.
The province's medical examiner's office says many of the remains are hard to identify because they are so small.
But some family members of the victims say a mass burial is inhumane.
Maclellan says most relatives applaud the decision
