The unidentified remains of Swissair Flight 1-11 victims will be buried in Bayswater, Nova Scotia.

It's one of two sites already chosen for memorials to the 229 people who died when the plane plummeted into the Atlantic Ocean near Peggy's Cove last September.

Former Nova Scotia chief justice Lorne Clarke heads a committee selecting the memorial and burial sites.

He sent letters to the families last week telling them the news.

Clarke is expected to formally announce the burial site this week.
