You won't see a bus on the Green Party's campaign trail. Party leader Frank de Jong kicked off his quest for votes on a bicycle. de Jong pedalled away from Queen's Park bound for Guelph, 100 kilometres away.

"Ontario is plagued by car-dependent sprawl, air pollution, famland loss and tremeondous costs for policing and accidents,'' de Jong told reporters. "Cars are bad for the economy.''

The Green Party plans to field candidates in 53 of Ontario's 103 ridings.
