Liberal Aimé Brisson won in 1962 in Montreal-Jeanne-Mance and in Jeanne-Mance in 1966, 1970, 1973.

1976

Parti Québécois's Henri E. Laberge defeated Liberal Brisson.

1981–1998

Liberal Michel Bissonnet defeated Parti Québécois's Laberge. Bissonnet was re-elected in 1985, 1989, 1994 and 1998.

2003

Liberal Bissonnet defeated Robert La Rose of the Parti Québécois.

2007

Liberal Bissonnet defeated Action Démocratique du Québec's Carole Giroux. Bissonnet resigned Sept. 22, 2008, when he was elected mayor of Saint-Léonard in a byelection. The seat remains vacant.
