Chutes-de-la-Chaudière contains part of the city of Lévis corresponding to the following municipalities as they existed up until Dec. 31, 2001: Charny, Saint-Étienne-de-Lauzon, Sainte-Hélène-de-Breakeyville, Saint-Jean-Chrysostome, Saint-Nicolas and Saint-Rédempteur.

Riding history: Riding first existed in 1989 election, created from Beauce-Nord and Lévis. No change in redistribution prior to 1994 election except for name change.
In 2001 redistribution, kept 79 per cent of riding; 15 per cent moved to Lévis; six per cent to Beauce-Nord. In the northeast, lost Saint-Romuald to Lévis (8,552 electors). From the south, lost Saint-Lambert-de-Lauzon parish to Beauce-Nord (3,501 electors).

1995 sovereignty referendum: Yes - 60.06 per cent; No - 39.94 per cent
