Argenteuil contains the following municipalities: Arundel, Barkmere, Brownsburg-Chatham, Gore, Grenville, Grenville-sur-la-Rouge, Harrington, Lac-des-Seize-Îles, Lachute, Mille-Isles, Montcalm, Morin Heights, St-Adolphe-d'Howard, St-André-d'Argenteuil, St-Colomban, Wentworth and Wentworth North.

Riding history: Argentuil was created in 1853. There were no changes made in the redistribution before 1994 election.
In 2001 redistribution: Kept 65 per cent of riding; 34 per cent moved to new Mirabel riding; one per cent to Labelle. Lost to new Mirabel riding, from eastern part of the riding, the city of Mirabel (18,202 electors). Lost to Labelle riding, from northwest corner of riding, Hurberdeau poll (666 electors).
