Senator Pamela Wallin appeared before a Senate committee hearing in August reviewing an audit report on her expenses. The committee chose to refer the audit to the RCMP.

At the request of Senator Pamela Wallin, the Senate on Monday tabled transcripts of the internal economy committee's in-camera meetings in August to go over the Deloitte audit of her expenses.

At the first meeting, on Monday, Aug. 12, Deloitte auditors explained the audit into Wallins' expenses to the senators on the committee and to Wallin and her lawyer.

At the second, on Tuesday, Aug. 13, the committee heard from Wallin herself and debated a report on the audit findings from a subcommittee of three senators — and ultimately decided to refer the report to the RCMP.
