OotD - Heads up, Toronto - PM, Mulcair coming your way!

As the curtain falls on the second week of the fall sitting, both the prime minister and the leader of the official opposition are Toronto-bound, where NDP Leader Tom Mulcair will address members of the Canadian Club of Toronto at a lunch event, and the PM is set to speak at the Team Canada '72 Gala Dinner.

Back on Parliament Hill, MPs will spend the day debating the government's proposal to further tighten the rules governing political loans, which is expected to get the necessary second-reading approval to be dispatched to committee for further study.
 
Elsewhere on the pre-weekend ministerial/MPs' circuit:

• Health Minister Leonna Aglukkaq spends a second day in Halifax, where she will co-chair a meeting with her provincial counterparts.
• In Fredericton, Fisheries Minister Keith Ashfield announces new funding for Science East and attends the "grand opening" of the Grant Harvey Centre, and across the Confederation Bridge in Charlottetown, Revenue Minister Gail Shea delivers fresh government support to "Canada's Smartest Kitchen".
• Back on the mainland, Associate Defence Minister Bernard Valcourt addresses the Aero Montreal Global Supply Chain Summit, while his Quebec cabinet colleague Transport Minister Denis Lebel pays a visit to Dolbeau-Mistassini-based Sysgaz, Inc. 
• Human Resources Minister Diane Finley unveils new support for the "sustainable construction industry" at George Brown College in Toronto. 
• Also out and about in Ontario today: Labour Minister Lisa Raitt, who will make an appearance at a Unionville high school to celebrate KidsCAN, Minister of State for Seniors Alice Wong, who will launch the Canadian Longitudinal Study on Aging at McMaster University in Hamilton, and Pickering-Scarborough Conservative MP Corneliu Chisu, set to reveal new funding for the Durham YMCA.
• Meanwhile, in Edmonton, local MP Laurie Hawn offers his government's support for local youth during an appearance at the Expo Centre.
• Finally, south of the border, Defence Minister Peter MacKay will meet with US Defence Secretary Leon Panetta at the Pentagon, while in New York, parliamentary secretary for foreign affairs Deepak Obhrai speaks at the opening of a United Nations session on "countering nuclear terrorism."
