The graphs and visuals are used to make things more clear. Even today, former Liberal Minister of Immigration Denis Coderre said in committee that the graphs were helpful and should stay."
Colleague Payton notes that Coderre was pretty clear his problem was with the blue "Action for faster family reunification" signs, and not with the charts/graphs.
Double update: Malcolm responds to say that the signs "displayed the name of the program that was being discussed at
committee... it displayed the name of a program, the Action
Plan for Faster Family Reunification."
