The Canadian government announces plans to boycott the UN Conference on Disarmament. Canada isn't on board with North Korea serving as chair of a conference that promotes the elimination of nuclear weapons. This isn't the first time Canada has boycotted a UN decision, and this may not be the last time either. Canada is expected to boycott another conference in September. Is the UN still relevant?
