The Centennial Flame burns on Parliament Hill in Ottawa, Sunday. (Adrian Wyld/Canadian Press)
Caucus meetings! Question Period! Last minute gun-registry-vote-related scrambling! Oh, it's going to be a Wild and Wonderful Wednesday indeed, and I'll be liveblogging -- and occasionally livetweeting -- throughout, so stick around for up-to-the-minute dispatches from the parliamentary battlefront. For a preview of today's parliamentary festivities, check out Orders of the Day.
Programming note: At the moment, I'm tentatively planning to hit the Hill later this morning to soak up the post-caucus atmosphere -- apparently, NDP Leader Jack Layton, whose caucus actually meets way over in West Block, will hit the Foyer at 12:30, and I'm sure there will be a few other MPs running the gauntlet in the Hall of Honour. (I wonder if that whole stadium funding gambit will come up at Conservative caucus?) After that, well -- there's Question Period, of course, as well as the post-QP scrums, and eventually, The Vote, so I suspect I'll spend much of the afternoon dashing frantically from one livebloggable event to another. As always, I'll keep you posted.
Berry-friendly flash-free alternate liveblog feed -- which, by the way, is perfectly suited for the discriminating desktop user who prefers a more minimalist approach than the standard CoveritLive window -- available here.
