The Liberal Express sing-along: At least they don't have vuvuzelas...

It has begun. The Liberal Express bus tour that is. And it was a soggy start.

At one point in St-Albert, the rain pounded the bus and it was not sure if the satellite truck was even going to work, raising the question: if you go on tour and it doesn't get on TV, did it really happen?

The lightening disappeared, though, and us TV reporters managed to file our stories.

Now, in another surreal moment, Don Boudria is hosting a sing-along, singing Sweet Caroline and Johnny Cash songs. (Oh no. They just started the endless American Pie song.)

Most of the bus is full of Liberal staffers and MPs (like Dominic Leblanc and Ralph Goodale) so they don't mind the cheer and the entertainment.

Stuck in the back of the bus, the reporters, who are trying to get some work done.

I suppose the singing may bring the Liberals closer together, but I'm not sure if it'll just drive the rest of us crazy.
