UPDATED - CommitteeWatch: Another day, another Liberal recall demand

Today's target: National Defence, whose presence in Ottawa is requested by a somewhat confusingly worded press release -- -- so it's "a future Liberal government [that] will immediately call for the ... committee to reconvene as soon as possible," is it? -- that accompanied this morning's news conference by Industry critic Marc Garneau.

On the agenda, presuming that the Liberals are able to convince at least one other party to sign onto the 104(6) letter, which is apparently already circulating: the "$16 billion sole-sourced fighter jet contract" that the government is expected to announce, presumably amid great fanfare, later this week.

I'll let you know when the request is signed, sealed and delivered.

UPDATE: As promised/threatened earlier this week, the Industry committee will, indeed, be back in session on Tuesday.
