Gumshoe, meet gumshoes: Liveblogging Derrick Snowdy at Government Operations

After a made-for-TV arrival in Ottawa last night, private investigator Derrick Snowdy headed to the Hill to tell a parliamentary committee his side of the still-unfolding Guergis-Jaffer saga, particularly those alleged allegations that he passed on, via Conservative Party lawyer Arthur Hamilton, to the PMO, which may or may not have cost MP Helena Guergis both her cabinet post and her seat in the Conservative caucus. Check out Orders of the Day for a bit of background on the events leading up to the meeting, or spend a little time trawling through the Guergis-Jaffer archives

Full liveblogging coverage of the hearing is underway -- and cross all available digits that this afternoon's Q&A session won't be cut short by another fire alarm

Oh, and don't forget to stick around after Snowdy departs -- that's when the debate over MP Rod Bruinooge's motion to investigate lobbying accusations against MP Derek Lee is expected to get underway!
