Liveblogs: Aviation security, Afghanistan committee - what's a Hill reporter to do? (Both.)
- February 10, 2010 8:30 AM |
- By Kady O'Malley
Well, they said it couldn't be done -- and it may well turn out that they're right, and doesn't it drive you crazy when that happens, what with making Them even more unbearably smug and condescending? -- but I'm going to do my best to cover both of the annoyingly concurrently scheduled opposition-orchestrated events this morning, starting with the Afghanistan all-but-one-party committee at 9am, and then crossing the hall to hit what I hope will turn out to be the highlights of the Liberal-NDP roundtable on aviation security that kicks off at 10am.
For convenience, I've decided to use one post for both liveblogs, and I'll do my best to keep readers posted on which one I'm currently inhabiting at any given time. For a full list of witnesses, check out Orders of the Day -- and cross your fingers that I can keep the competing storylines straight.
