From left to right, Peter Tinsley, Ned Franks, Paul Kennedy, Michael Ignatieff and Marlene Jennings are seen during Tuesday's Liberal roundtable on governance. I very much doubt I'll be liveblogging all -- or even most -- of the myriad panel discussions and roundtables that the Liberal caucus has cooked up to fill the parliament-shaped hole in our lives, but with a guest list like this:
  • Linda Keen (former President and CEO of the Canadian Nuclear Safety Commission, by video)
  • Peter Tinsley (former Chair of the Military Police Complaints Commission)
  • Paul Kennedy (former Chair of the Commission for Public Complaints Against the RCMP)
  • France Houle (Law teacher at University of Montreal)
  • Ned Franks (Professor of Political Studies at Queen's University)
... really, I just don't see how I could not show up for this morning's forum on governance, so check back at 10am for full coverage!

UPDATE: Here is the link to the RCMP PCC's report Police Investigating Police that Kennedy mentions.

UPDATE-UPDATE:
And Presto! here's the AG's report from March 2009 on the public appointments process that Tinsley referred to repeatedly.
