Thank you for your interest, but Parliament Hill is, it seems, now officially closed for the season. That's what it looks like from here, at least, there really doesn't seem to be anything going on in Ottawa today - and unlike yesterday, we aren't even eagerly awaiting the release of the latest salvo from Richard Colvin.

There is, however, a new EKOS poll available for your perusal, which should stave off withdrawal pangs for the moment, at least. Also, the Supreme Court is still on the job: earlier this morning, in fact, it gave leave to the Information Commissioner to appeal a themed set of three lower court rulings on various ministerial documents that various parties have been trying to get their hands on for years, including the daily agendas of then Prime Minister Jean Chretien, which should make for a fascinating -- and possibly eminently livebloggable -- hearing, although not until next year.

Meanwhile, the current prime minister is in Copenhagen for the final two days of the climate change summit, which really doesn't appear to be going all that well, as far as actually reaching some sort of consensus on what, if anything, will come out of it. (Speaking of which, has anyone seen any evidence of that much-ballyhooed Copenhagen war room that the government reportedly set up in advance of the conference? Because so far, it seems to be a little -- low profile, although it's possible that they were waiting for the PM to arrive before kicking into high gear. Or any gear, really.)

Oh, and if anyone is interested in getting into the fun and profitable world of nuclear power production, Natural Resources Minister Lisa Raitt would love to hear from you.

As usual, if anything else shows up on the radar, I'll post an update.
