Ho-ho-home

mackay-xmas-card200.jpgMPs are just a couple of days away from flying home and some were still signing their Christmas cards during Tuesday's Question Period. My hand just cramps up from the thought of it!

Here are three Christmas cards from MPs that just arrived in my mailbox.

First off, Defence Minister Peter MacKay's Christmas Card.

"Wishing you peace hope and love for this Holiday season," it reads.

This photo caption says, "Yellowknife, Northwest Territories."

If you look closely in the top centre, you can see someone swigging a drink of something. Wassailing, indeed!

trudeau-xmascard200.jpgNext the young family of Justin Trudeau:

"May the smiles of children brighten your holiday season."

As someone who has just been through a family photo shoot, with very young children, one wonders: How many takes were needed to get the right smile?

Finally, Mississauga-Streetsville MP Bonnie Crombie:

"Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and best wishes for peace and prosperity in the New Year."

I'll post more cards as they arrive.
