Sticks and stones...

There's been yet another instance of Twitter trouble for a MP.

This time, it's Michelle Simson, the Liberal MP for Scarborough Southwest, who has tweeted her way into hot water.

Her allegedly offensive tweets were as follows:

9:59 a.m. In committee this morning. M.P. Del Mastro should grow up (not out). #lpc

10:37 a.m. Gosh, I hate to see a grown M.P. pout. Smile, Dean! #lpc

Simson's fingers were a-talking during this morning's meeting of the House of Commons Access to Information, Privacy & Ethics Committee. Colleague O'Malley most capably liveblogged those proceedings, and then detailed Del Mastro's disappointment for those of us who weren't able to follow it in real time.

Conservative MP Dean Del Mastro took offence and raised the matter in the House of Commons this afternoon after Question Period. Video -- of his complaint, her response, and NDP MP Charlie Angus' rebuke, until the Speaker cut him off -- is here.
