Pop Civics Quiz: What's wrong with this PMO press release?
- November 12, 2009 4:03 PM |
- By Kady O'Malley
Well, wrong may be too strong a word, but anyone who was paying attention during the recent controversy over who is permitted to style themselves as Canada's head of state, or even skimmed through this section of the new citizenship study guide may find the wording in this PMO-issued press release to be a little on the odd side, as far as who actually presented the medals in question. (A hint: The Commander-in-Chief of the Canadian Forces, that's who, not that you'd know that from the picture.)
