Law and Order: Special Afghanistan Committee Unit - Liveblogging the launch of the detainee transfer inquiry

Committee programming note: After today's virtual QP viewing party has wrapped up, I'll be making a rare trip down the East Block tunnel to liveblog the launch of the Afghanistan committee investigation into the transfer of detainees. The meeting  gets underway at 3:30 p.m., although for the first few minutes, it will an be in camera affair - just routine agenda-related housekeeping business, apparently; definitely not worth storming the barricades. This time. The main event -- testimony from Judge Advocate General Kenneth Watkin, and the director of criminal law policy over at Justice -- should get started before 4pm. In any case, I'll keep you posted -- from the committee room, or the hall.
