It's like the ultimate committee hearing: Liveblogging the PM vs. Omar Khadr at the Supreme Court
- November 13, 2009 7:23 AM |
- By Kady O'Malley
As noted in Orders of the Day, I'm off to the Supreme Court this morning to liveblog the Omar Khadr appeal. Opening arguments get underway at 9am, starting with an hour each for the government and the Khadr legal team, followed by ten -- ten! -- intervenors with ten minutes each. Ooh, just like an opening statement at committee! This is the first time that I've attempted to liveblog a Supreme Court hearing, although I'm sure it's not the first time it's been done in Canada.
Anyway, check back at 9am for full coverage!
