Ghosts of Gomery Commissions Past - Liveblogging the Ethics committee

I'll be back in my usual spot at Ethics today, waiting patiently for Dean del Mastro's special commemorative anniversary sponsorship motion to make it to the floor. Oh, and I'll probably wind up getting interested in spite of myself in the debate over the government's response to the committee's recommendations to reform the access to information regime too, so be warned. Anyway, check back at 9am for full coverage.

POST-MEETING MICRORECAP: Well, not to deprive readers of a little vicarious clock-watching fun, but I must report that the committee did not, alas, manage to get to the del Mastro motion today, although he certainly did his best to hurry things along with his increasingly frequent -- and frustrated -- points of order. Don't worry, it will be first -- well, second, actually, but I bet Pierre Poilievre would be willing to withdraw his motion to ensure it goes straight to the top of the list -- on the agenda when the committee reconvenes after the Remembrance Week break. Oh, and just a heads up for Justice Minister Rob Nicholson: You might want to set aside a couple of hours in your schedule as well, since the opposition parties seem quite eager to chat about your response to their recommendations on access to information reform.

Anyway, hit replay for full moment-by-moment coverage, or check out the text feed here!
