- July 8, 2010 12:59 PM |
- By POV

Stan Cox, author of the book Losing Our Cool: Uncomfortable Truths About Our Air-Conditioned World, spoke to Metro Morning on Thursday to discuss the positives of turning off the A/C.
Citing everything from the community benefits of cooling off outdoors, to utilizing your body's own mechanisms for beating the heat, Cox suggests the air conditioner is overused and abused.
Listen to the segment.
What do you think? Do you turn the A/C every day in the summer or do you use alternatives for keeping cool?
