As the movie Eclipse gets set to open in theatres this week, the streets are brimming with eager teens and their just-as-eager moms donning "Team Edward" T-shirts, resplendent in their sartorial nods to the sparkly vampire featured in the young adult series Twilight.

CBC News Your Voice even spotted a fan Tuesday morning wearing a homemade "Jasper Says Relax" top, an homage to one of the books' and movies' other bloodsuckers.

Call it an epidemic if you will, but official and fan-made Twilight gear is everywhere, filling high school halls, North American malls and everything in-between. Twi-hards, as they're known, even have their own conventions, where patches, backpacks and art featuring Bella, Edward and Jacob are all up for grabs. But as any Trekkie will tell you, fandemonium is nothing new and dressing up like your favourite TV or movie character is a time-honoured tradition among diehard fans of any series.

What do you think of the Twilight craze? Have you ever been gone gaga for a book, TV series or movie?

(This poll is not scientific. It is based on readers' votes.)

Send us photos of your fan-made art, from Twilight to Star Trek. How do you pay tribute to your favourite films?

Upload your photos to our gallery or add them to our Flickr pool. You can also email them to yournews@cbc.ca with the word "fan" in the subject line.
