Ray Slater, a radio producer from Austin, Texas, has strong-armed his way to a world record in fist pumping — a dance move favoured by the cast of MTV's Jersey Shore.
Slater told CBC's As It Happens that he superglued his own hand shut to prepare for the first-pump-a-thon.
He managed to swing it repeatedly in the air to the beat of club music for a solid 17 hours and 15 minutes, edging out the former record by 15 minutes.
