Roadside kidnappers ambushed Canadian reporter Amanda Lindhout on August 23, 2008 in Somalia. She was held captive for 15 months and held for ransom under extremely oppressive conditions that included torture and beatings. She finally was released in November 2009, reportedly after a ransom was paid. In this exclusive interview, Lindhout talks about her time spent in captivity and her new program that aims to make Somalia a better place.
