Travelling memorial: Canadians in Afghanistan
CBC News
Last Updated: June 28, 2011
Since 2002, 157 members of the Canadian Forces have been killed serving in Afghanistan. A mural created by artist Dave Sopha to honour those who have died in the mission is travelling the country. CBC's Janet Thomson visited Bradford, Ont., one of the tour stops. She talked to the family of Sapper Brian Collier, the 151st Canadian soldier to die in Afghanistan. He was the only son of Jim and Carol Collier and brother to three sisters: Jennine, Shannon and Lauren. | Click on the "Map" tab above to see the tour locations.
