For good measure, how does a bottle of nail polish stack up against a litre of gasoline? At first glance it may seem simple. Gas prices are hovering at record levels, reaching $1.40 per litre in some regions of the country. The cost of filling the tank is indeed leaving consumers feeling pinched. By comparison, a bottle of nail polish rings in at a few dollars. But give them both a common denominator and the results may surprise you.
