Fisher-Price recalls Sonya Lee camp figure

Fisher-Price is voluntarily recalling its Sonya Lee figure from the Little People Play 'n Go Campsite. (Health Canada)A Fisher-Price figure in a camping playset is being voluntarily recalled by its manufacturer.
The Fisher-Price Little People Play 'n Go Campsite is a six piece playset that includes a plastic Sonya Lee figure, tent and other accessories.
"The plastic Sonya Lee figure in the playset can break at the waist, exposing small parts which pose a choking hazard to young children," Health Canada said in an advisory Thursday.
The other pieces in the playset are not affected by the recall.
Fisher-Price has received one report from a Canadian consumer and seven reports from U.S. consumers of the Sonya Lee figure breaking. No injuries have been reported.
Health Canada said it hasn't received any reports of incidents or injuries related to the use of the product.
The name "Sonya Lee" is printed on the underside of the figure. Product number R6935 is printed on the toy's packaging.
Consumers should immediately take such figures away from children and contact the company to arrange for it to returned in exchanged for a free replacement figure, the advisory said.
The set is manufactured in China and sold for children aged two to five.
About 14,000 units were sold in Canada and another 96,000 in the United States.
The products were sold at major retailers, discount stores, department stores and toy stores nationwide from October 2009 through August 2010 and by online retailers.
