British actress Kate Winslet has married for a third time, her publicist has confirmed.

The actress, 37, married Ned RocknRoll, an executive for Richard Branson's space flight venture Virgin Galactic.

Her publicist said the couple has been engaged since the summer and married in a private ceremony in New York earlier this month.

RocknRoll is Branson’s nephew and has changed his name from Ned Abel Smith.

Winslet, who starred in Titanic and Iris, earned an Academy Award for her role in The Reader.

She was previously married for seven years to Sam Mendes, director of another of her film triumphs Revolutionary Road, and they divorced in 2010.  Her first marriage to Jim Threapleton, also a director, lasted from 1998 to 2001.

Winslet has two children, who attended the ceremony with other friends and family. RocknRoll, 34, has been married once before.
