PCs make jobs announcement; NDP discuss healthy children

All four party leaders on P.E.I. will be at a public forum Tuesday morning to discuss women's issues.

The forum is organized by the Coalition for Women in Government and the student union at Holland College.  The event begins in the boardroom of the Centre for Applied Technology building at 10 a.m.

Rob Lantz will announce the PC Party's jobs and infrastructure platform at Kennedy Metals in Pleasant Valley at 1:30 p.m., and spend the rest of the day in districts 17 and 19.

Healthy kids will be the theme of an announcement by the NDP at 2 p.m. Leader Mike Redmond will make that announcement at his campaign headquarters in Cardigan.

Liberal Leader Wade MacLauchlan will be in the Stratford area, including the Vernon River-Stratford district through the afternoon and evening.

Green Party leader Peter Bevan Baker continues to concentrate his efforts in his own district of Kelly Cross-Cumberland, spending this afternoon and evening going door-to-door.
