After selling his interest in this overseas operation, returned to Vancouver and along with his father and brother has been in the restaurant business.
Community Activities: Has been involved in a wide range of activities including chairing the 2010 Rally on Robson, acting as director of the Robson Street Business Improvement Association and assisting the North Shore Family Services.

Federal: Ran unsuccessfully as a Liberal in West Vancouver-Sunshine Coast in 2004. Elected in West Vancouver – Sunshine Coast – Sea to Sky Country in 2006. In October, 2007, resigned from the Liberal party to sit as an Independent MP. Joined the Green Party in August, 2008.
