Federal: Elected in Prince George-Bulkley Valley in 1993, 1997 and 2000. Elected in Cariboo-Prince George in 2004 and 2006.

Education: Earned a BA in geography from Simon Fraser University. Recently completed her law studies at McGill University.
Career Background: After graduating from Simon Fraser University, she worked in forestry fieldwork and mapping for three years and then as an employment facilitator with a Vancouver non-profit organization. She is currently articling with a law firm in Vancouver.
Community Activities: She volunteered with the Western Canada Wilderness Committee. At McGill, she was active in several student groups including the Radical Law Community and an environmental law association. She was also involved in organizing an international conference on environmental issues.
