Career Background: She is currently band manager on the Ochiichagwe’bagigo’ining First Nation (Dalles Reserve). She was first elected to band council in 1994. She has also held positions as a community worker on her home reserve, youth coalition coordinator at the Friendship Centre in Red Lake, part-time support worker for Red Lake Community Resource Centre, part-time northern youth delegate for Red Lake Youth Employment Office and anti-racism/youth worker for the Kenora Youth Drop-In Centre.

Community Activities: She has served on the board of directors for the Kenora Health Access Centre since 1998, as president since 2004, and on the board of directors for the Treaty 3 Police Service since August 2006. She worked on the First Nations Task Force on the Local Health Integration Act through the Chiefs of Ontario (2005/2006). She has been a volunteer Sunday School teacher since September 2006 and is also a member of Four Directions Toastmasters Club and the Lakewood School Parent Council.
