Was also briefly employed with the casino in Charlevoix and, in 2007, wrote a book about it entitled Les jeux sont faits: Confessions d’une ex-croupière. Self-employed forestry producer since 2001.
Community Activities: Served as a moderator of youth action group in Charlevoix in 2003. Member of a coalition against gambling in Quebec.

He has been a member of the Quebec Bar Association's committee on illegal activities, the Officers Mess of the Quebec Citadel and the Rotary Club of Quebec-Charlesbourg. In addition, he has worked on several committees for the movement Desjardins, is a member of the board of directors for la Maison de Job and a founding member of committee to help bereaved persons for the Quebec division of the Canadian Red Cross.
