Career Background: He worked as policy advisor for the Quebec Ministry of Transportation from 1978 to 1979. Then served as project manager for Carmel, Fyen, Jacques Consulting Engineers from 1965 to 1978, the Ministry of Public Works and Supply from 1980 to 1984, and the Quebec Lands Corporation from 1984 to 2004.

Community Activities: Served as president of the Laval United Way in 1978 and the Laval Regional Gymnastics Association from 1985 to 1987. Also served on the board of directors of Cité de la Santé de Laval from 1981 to 1986.

Federal: First elected in this riding in 2004 and re-elected in 2006.

Education: Earned an MBA in strategy and finance, and is currently completing a doctorate in international finance.

Profession: Businessman

Career Background: Managed several small and medium-sized businesses and has been a management consultant for international companies. He has also taught strategy and finance at the University of Quebec's Department of Business Strategy and School of Business Science. He is the founder and publisher of the first French-language magazine dedicated to organizational governance, and has given several training seminars about leadership and governance. He currently manages a company specializing in the import-export trade.

Community Activities: Is a member of the International Research Group in Financial and Fiduciary Ethics.

Community Activities: Has been involved with many environmental committees. Winner of the 2005 Participation Award from the Co-op Droit. Received the 2005 Committee-of-the-year Award on behalf of the environmental committee of the Université de Montréal. Received a bursary of excellence from the Université Jean-Moulin-Lyon-3.
