In 2004, he started a career in economic development as the executive director of Downtown Moncton Centre-Ville Inc.
Community Activities: He coached Lewisville minor hockey and Moncton minor baseball. Also volunteered at several fundraisers including CNIB (Vision Dinner), Canadian Cancer Society (Daffodil Ball), Heart and Stroke Foundation (Leaders with Heart). He helped lead the steering committees for community events such as the 2006 Memorial Cup, Hubcap Comedy Festival, Seafood Festival and the City of Moncton Public Safety Advisory Committee.

Community Activities: Participated in Moncton Hospital’s “Healthy Returns” Campaign and the Roman Catholic Archdiocesan Fundraising Drive and chaired the $2.3 million New Brunswick Foundation for the Arts Stabilization Fund Drive.
