Winning ticket for $50M Lotto Max jackpot sold in Quebec
Someone, or some group is holding the winning ticket to the $50-million jackpot in last night's Lotto Max draw.
Lottery officials say the ticket was purchased in Quebec but they have yet to reveal the exact location.
The jackpot went unclaimed, waiting to be won, in the previous three weekly draws.
Seventeen other tickets won prizes of $1 million each.
Nine of those were sold in Ontario, three in Quebec, and the rest in western provinces.
The $100 million in total prize money in Friday's draw was the most since Lotto Max was launched in 2009.
