Windsor Police have charged a 21-year-old Windsor woman with impaired driving causing death after a fatal collision early Sunday morning.

Police said the woman was driving a 2007 Dodge pickup truck in the 10800 block of Riverside Drive East when it struck a construction truck and trailer, which had been parked on the north side of Riverside Drive.

A 23-year-old man riding in the truck suffered fatal injuries, and was pronounced dead at the scene. Police have not released his name.

The driver of the pickup truck was transported to Hôtel-Dieu Grace Hospital with non-life threatening injuries. She remained there Monday.

All vehicles involved in the collision were destroyed. Damage is estimated to be in excess of $60,000.
