A Windsor woman died in a collision on I-75 in Kentucky early Monday morning.
According to police, a car travelling south on I-75 lost control on a patch of black ice and spun out of control and into the path of a southbound tractor trailer, just before 2 a.m.
The vehicles collided, critically injuring Svetlana Frkovic, 66, who eventually died in a Lexington hospital.
The driver of the car was her husband, Slavko Frkovic, 67, and front-seat passenger, their daughter, 31-year-old Sanja Frkovic were seriously injured.
Neither the driver nor passenger of the tractor trailer was injured.
Laurel County Police told CBC News the driver of the truck did everything he could to avoid the collision and charges are not likely.
