Police in Windsor had issued a countrywide arrest warrant for Oliha on Sept. 25.

He is expected to be arraigned in Windsor Wednesday on charges of attempted murder.

Oliha was wanted in connection with a shooting outside an apartment building in the 600 block of Chippawa Street on Sunday, Sept. 20, at about 9:45 p.m.

Police said Oliha approached a man and woman as they entered the apartment building and exchanged words with them. Then, as the man turned away, Oliha pulled out a pistol and shot the man, police said.

Oliha then fled in a two-toned, dark-coloured sport utility vehicle with silver along the bottom and Ontario licence plates, police said.
