Windsor real estate still hot, average home price up 11%
The housing market in Windsor-Essex remains hot, according to a report from Re/Max.
The agency says the average sales price of houses is up 11 per cent in the first quarter of 2016 when compared to the same time last year.
The average sales price of houses in Windsor-Essex was $211,000 in the first quarter.
The number of properties changing hands jumped 19 per cent.
Re/Max expects consumer confidence to remain high as more medium-sized companies move into the region, the manufacturing sector remains strong, and construction ramps up on the new bridge to Detroit.
