Windsor police are investigating two separate robbery cases, both of which involved a bandanna-wearing suspect with a handgun.

Police released photos of a suspect involved in a convenience store robbery that took place shortly before 1:45 a.m. Tuesday in the area of Seminole Street and Pillette Road.

According to police, the suspect entered the store with his face covered by a white bandana and what appears to be a black laptop bag over his head.

The suspect brandished a handgun and demanded cash from the employee at the front counter.  He then dashed out of the store with cash, and was last seen walking northwest through the parking lot, said police.
 
No injuries were reported.
 
The suspect was described as a white male, 5'8, wearing a black laptop bag on his head, a white kerchief covering his face, a white T-shirt, beige shorts, white socks and black shoes.

Police are investigating a second robbery that occurred just before 12:30 a.m. Tuesday at a bank in the Tecumseh Road East and Walker Road area.

Police said the victim was using the ATM when he saw a male suspect enter the vestibule carrying a handgun.

The suspect demanded cash but the victim refused and grabbed onto the handgun. A brief struggle ensued but the suspect managed to keep hold of the gun and fled northbound on Turner Road.
 
The victim sustained minor injuries to his finger.
 
The suspect was described as a white male, 5'10. He was wearing a lighter coloured bandana covering his face.
