A Windsor man was one of the people hurt in a hayride accident east of Peterborough.

Police say about 25 people, many of them children, were on a hayride at a private family function near Warkworth Saturday night.

The tractor driver lost control, went down a hill and hit a tree.

The driver and several other people were thrown.

The 28-year-old Windsor was treated for a leg injury at the Campbellford hospital.

Three other people were hurt, including an eight-year-old boy and 52-year-old man, who had to be airlifted out because of the severity of their injuries.
