Windsor, LaSalle police nab motorcycle thief, seize drugs
Windsor and LaSalle work together to catch man on stolen motorcycle
A Windsor man faces drug and theft charges after police arrested him for stealing a motorcycle Tuesday evening.
Officers with LaSalle and Windsor police forces worked together in arresting the 35-year-old man, who was caught at a gas station on Huron Church Line Road around 5 p.m.
Police seized several grams of marijuana, cannabis resin, MDMA, cocaine and almost 90 grams of methamphetamine.
Windsor police alerted their LaSalle colleagues about the man on a stolen motorcycle last seen near St. Clair College heading west. Officers from LaSalle then arrested the man at the gas station.
The man has been charged with possession of stolen property, possession of controlled substances, possession of controlled substances for the purpose of trafficking and possession of prohibited weapon.
