Windsor jobless rate falls to 6.9 per cent in January
Windsor's unemployment rate fell in January.
It dropped from 7.7 per cent in December to 6.9 per cent in January.
That means approximately 2,000 jobs were added.
Windsor's labour force has fallen by 700 year over year, January 2013 to January 2014.
There were 3,000 fewer people collecting unemployment in Windsor in January 2014 than in January 2013.
Windsor's population grew by 1,600 people or 0.6 per cent between January 2013 and January 2014.
The national unemployment rate fell to 7 per cent for January, compared with 7.2 per cent in December.
