A Windsor artist is launching a new project designed to connect migrant workers through food.

Arturo Herrera calls it the Recipe Card Exchange.

He told CBC's The Bridge about his plans to collect recipes from Leamington's migrant community.

"It's pretty much establishing different key points along the city, like in parks, supermarkets, where the migrant communities come together in their days off," Herrera said. "From the back of my car, I'll be collecting food recipes."

The finished book will be given back to participants and made available at local libraries.
