A cosmetics manufacturer is expanding its operations in LaSalle, creating as many as 35 new jobs.
PAX-ALL makes personal care items, such as lip stick, deodorant, baby powder and lotions.
The company currently employs 15 people and says it might eventually need up to 35 more.
PAX-ALL has been in business for more than two decades and recently purchased an industrial building at 5000 Howard Business Parkway just off of Sixth Concession.
PAX-ALL president Juvenal Alvarez, said he's "very pleased to be situated just off of the new [Herb Gray] Parkway and the future international bridge."
"We are optimistic about our move to LaSalle because this location offers much greater access to the U.S. border, and we are excited to be a part of the growing life sciences sector in the Windsor-Essex region," Alvarez said.
The company exports to more than 50 countries worldwide.
Windsor-Essex Economic Development Corporation CEO, Sandra Pupatello said the announcement "proves that our strategy of being the most business-friendly environment anywhere, is working."
