Toddler on life support after falling into pond
A toddler from Ohio is on life support after falling into a pond Sunday in Harrow, Ont., southeast of Windsor.
The boy and his family were attending a Christian gathering at a church in Harrow at the time of the incident.
Essex County OPP say that while a number of activities were taking place at the church, the child's father noticed that his son was missing. After a 15-minute search, he was found in a backyard pond on a property police say abuts the church property.
Officers and paramedics performed CPR on the boy, whose vital signs were absent when he was pulled from pond.
The child was air lifted to Sick Children's Hospital in London.
The OPP continues to investigate.
